Tianjin Yishang Group was founded in April 1953. In October 1995, it was transformed into Tianjin Yishang Group Co., Ltd., a wholly state-owned enterprise. In March 1996, it was officially put into operation.  In the tide of market economy, it has become the forefront of Tianjin's business, and enjoys the reputation of "Tianjin's first business". Since October 2008, it has been under the supervision of Tianjin SASAC.  In November 2019, all state-owned capital withdrew and became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Liaoning Fangda Group Industrial Co., Ltd. The core business of Tianjin Yishang consists of four business segments: department store retail, commodity trade, business service and modern logistics.  Department store retail:  taking Youyi department store, Youyi New World Square, Youyi New city department store, Youyi Wuqing Department store, Youyi Dagang department store five physical retail stores as the operating entity, the total area of business stores is nearly 200,000 square meters, gathering more than 900 international and domestic brands, and the total number of VIP customers reaches more than 700,000 people. Commodity trade: the business scope covers two major fields of means of living and means of production, mainly acting for more than 40 brand varieties, carrying out wholesale and bulk trade of parallel imported automobiles, household appliances, food and beverage, daily washing and chemical products, and its own sales channels radiating to the Bohai sea and domestic key markets.  Business services: involving professional market, pawn auction, building park and other businesses, the company has a total of 11 professional trading markets for second-hand cars, hardware, tea, chemical industry, light textile.  Modern logistics: with a total area of 420,000 square meters of storage facilities, with general goods, chemical, bonded, cold chain and other storage services, with 8 varieties of natural rubber futures delivery qualification in the country's three major futures exchanges, with nearly 3,000 meters of dedicated railway line.
